WEST VALLEY CITY -- Friends and family of Susan Powell gathered at her West Valley City home Wednesday to hang up ribbons as a reminder she's still out there.

Susan has been missing for nearly two months, with still no sign of her whereabouts.

Family and friends say they fear people are forgetting about her, so they put up the ribbons as a reminder. There are 200 streamers on the front lawn of the Powell home, dozens of bows and hearts taped on the garage door and signs that express love to the mother of two.

Susan's friends say they hope the attention the display brings will once again push Susan's image into the forefront of people's minds.

"I think it will remind them that she is still missing," says friend Debbie Caldwell. "A lot of things have happened in the media that are really important, but to us, Susan is important."

Susan's best friend, Kiirsi Hellewell, says she's not giving up hope.

"We are not content to sit by," she says. "We want to find whoever took her. We know that she was taken from her home, from her life, and most of all from her little boys who need her and miss her and they need her back."

Susan's sister, Jennifer Graves, was also at the house helping with Wednesday's display. She says it's hard being at the home now that Susan's husband Josh, the only named person of interest in the case, and her two boys have moved to Washington state. She says Josh plans to visit Utah soon to fix up the house to help it sell.

"It is difficult to know that she is not here, the kids aren't here. I wish it were different," Graves says.

Graves says she and her husband went to Washington last weekend to visit the Josh and the boys. She says right now the kids are doing as well as can be expected and Josh still hasn't spoken to police about the case.

Police say they have no new details about the case that they want to release.
